Hear me read an excerpt from Midwest Shreds (and other news)

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted an update, but things are rolling right along! Here’s what’s going on with Midwest Shreds.

  • I turned in a big edit (and additional surprise chapter) to my editor about 6 weeks ago. Yay!

  • Due to the pandemic and supply chain issues, there’s a paper shortage, which is affecting the entire publishing industry. A lot of publication dates for books are being pushed back and printers are backed up for months on end. Last I heard, the printer that my publisher (Belt Publishing) uses is backed up 15-17 weeks. So while the original pub date for Midwest Shreds was fall 2022, it’s looking more like spring 2023.

  • I did my first book event for Midwest Shreds! I read an excerpt from the Columbus chapter of Midwest Shreds at the Columbus Arts Festival. I got a video, so check it out!
