MIDWEST SHREDS HAS GONE INTERNATIONAL, BAYBEEEE!

Not gonna lie, when I first got the book deal for Midwest Shreds, I didn’t think anyone outside the Midwest would care about the book, which is kind of expected when you’re writing a heavily regional-focused book. But I’m happy to report that I was wrong!

An excerpt from Midwest Shreds (from the Des Moines, Iowa, chapter that talks about Dew Tour 2021) was published in Glorious Sport! It’s an international magazine that highlights women in sports, so I thought it’d be the perfect place to share Tia Pearl’s story. She’s an internationally recognized and award-winning adaptive skateboarder and WCMX (wheelchair motocross/chairskating) champion. She’s one of the coolest people I know and I’m so thrilled to have been able to share her story in the book, and now in Glorious!

Check it out, along with the awesome action shots of Tia skating!
