Support this radical, anarchist, abolitionist indie bookstore when you buy Midwest Shreds

I have a soft spot for all indie bookstores, but one especially close to my heart is Bookspace Columbus. It’s one of the only, if not the only, explicitly radical bookstore/anarchist bookstore/abolitionist bookstore in Columbus, Ohio.

I would love Bookspace even if I weren’t friends with the owner, but as it happens, I’ve known Charlie Pugsley for years and can attest that he’s a fantastic human doing important work. He carries leftist books, including those from small presses, that few other bookstores deem important. He’s also a single dad and, unfortunately, there’s not a lot of money in the book business (for either of us).

So while I’d love for you to get your hands on Midwest Shreds: Skating Through America’s Heartland from anywhere that has it, if you’re conscious with your dollars and perhaps don’t have a radical indie bookstore near you, I’d love for you to order my book from Bookspace. He ships and I’ve signed all the copies currently in stock.
